I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who took a chance on a new author. I have been overwhelmed by the response and flattered that many of you liked my first book.
I certainly seem to have created a heroine who polarises opinion! But then the heroine, Horry in “The Convenient Marriage” by Georgette Heyer, was similarly criticised, and Scarlett O’Hara had her tantrum moments, so I guess I’m in good company!
Thank you to all who have taken the time to write reviews too. Whether you liked it or not, I value your opinion – it all helps me grow as a writer.
I can safely promise you that my next heroine will be far more grown up!
